Picturesque, Friendly Place for Cherry Picking Near Strasbourg

cherry picking near Strasbourg – in 40 min from the city, at the foothills of Black Forest. Sour and sweet cherries, fruit liquors. Great for a family visit

It took us a while to find cherry picking near Strasbourg.. For some reason there is very limited spots (in 2 years we found only 1, in the post below).

I asked local farmers in Alsace just to double check, and it seems that yes, the place below is the only one!

Cherry picking near Strasbourg

Hof Friese is a family farm that has a sweet and sour cherry orchards for pick your own, fruit liquors to try at the stand, and a farm with Christmas trees for winter.

Cherries were good and easy to pick up:

It wasn’t necessary as even small children could reach berries to pick up, but our kids liked to climb provided ladders to pick up from the top of the trees:

Sour cherries: less than a dozen of the trees, but they were covered in berries and tasty:
