Spring in Strasbourg: Cherries and Magnolias in Bloom, 9 Places

Parks and squares with playgrounds, cafe, and more. Pack your picnic and hurry!

Mild temperatures and fewer crowds make spring in Strasbourg the perfect time to explore the capital of Alsace.

One of our favorite things to do during this time – walk from one spot/park/square to another and enjoy the pink and white flowers.

Best time for blossoms

The timing of spring blooms in Strasbourg depends on the flower and weather, but generally:

Mid-March to early April: for cherry trees and magnolias

  • Magnolias bloom first, followed by cherry blossoms.

Late April to early May – for wisteria
