The Tallest Slide, Towering at 10 Meters High, in Strasbourg

Visiting tallest slide in Strasbourg at the shopping promenade, a place with a miniature train, carousel, and ferry wheel. Good to try year-round

Shopping Promenade Coeur Alsace (6 Bd des Enseignes, Reichstett) appeared a couple of years ago on the outskirts of Strasbourg and instantly became our hit.

This is the first shopping place we have ever seen with so many attractions for kids!

What we like about the promenade:

  • Multiple indoor paid attractions for kids of different ages: bowling, laser tag, karting, climbing center
  • Numerous places to have coffee, waffles, etc, outside
  • Even more spots inside to have a dinner/lunch
  • Cool, free attractions, even for bigger kids, like the huge slide, and a train:

1. The tallest slide in Alsace

There are two big playing structures at both ends of the shopping promenade, the one, pictured below, is great even for teens/adults:

Other end of the promenade, the slide is not so high, but looks like stained glass:

Miniature train rides on several days a week, check the schedule. Last time it was working on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and holidays:

3. Chocolaterie Daniel Stoffel

We also enjoyed our time at the Chocolaterie Daniel Stoffel. They have a tiny cafe inside with options of coffee, lemonade, and chocolate samples (great, we tried!)

4. A bit of extra on the promenade

Plenty of tables and chairs to have a rest and have some waffles/hot wine/choucroute on a cold day in December:
