Treetop walks seems to be pretty popular in Germany, and since 2020 there is first one and a must visit in France! Located in the heart of the forest massif in Alsace, it’s a lot of fun to visit with kids.
Pros: accessible for all levels of mobility, and has a huge playground nearby, you can spend half a day there.
Prices: we paid 51 euro for family tickets for 2 adults and 3 children for the tower and playground.
Address: Schoenenbourg, 67160 Drachenbronn-Birlenbach
Must visit in France: tree top trail, giant slide, etc
To get to the tree top you have to take a shuttle train from the parking lot, free, or hike trough the forest (something like 1h 15min walk).
Trains arrive every 30 minutes to the parking lot:

We bought tickets online to avoid waiting line, and it was slightly cheaper this way.

The trail lasts approximately 1km, pictured below is an observation tower:

Slide is really long, but gentle, kids can ride too:

Don’t forget to take cash to pay for the slide at the top of the tower
